24 Hour Cancellation Notice
Please give 24 hour notice for schedule changes, or as soon as possible.
If you cancel (as opposed to reschedule) within 1 hour of your appointment, you will be charged 10% of your appt total as a fee. If you no-show, it is a 30% of your appt total fee.
Our technicians work by appointment only and are here, ready for your appointment. If you are a no-show, that is time the technician could have been available for someone else and are paid for the treatments and services they perform. Many times, it will be too late to try and fill that spot by the time we realize you are not able to make the appointment time. Thank you for understanding.

We do not accept personal checks. We accept Master Card, Visa, Amex, Discover, however, Florida Pre-Paid or 'Child Support' cards will not run thru our processing system.
Return / Refund Policy
There is a no return policy on personal use skincare, hair products, or tanning products. Any other approved returns must be made within 10 days for a Store Credit Only. Spa treatments are non-refundable, however if you are unsatisfied with your services a Spa Credit or second treatment may be given at manager's discretion. Products that appear to be opened or used may not be returned for hygienic reasons. A Spa Credit may be given at a manager's discretion, for certain products, if you are unhappy with your purchase. NO refunds on Gift Cards.
Client Referral Program
We offer a client referral program of $5.00 in Spa Dollars for every client you refer! You EACH receive the $5.00 Credit. We require the clients name at checkout, of the referred guest. There is no limit to how many guests you can refer or credits you may receive. Credits may be used on any regular priced service or product over $20. There is no actual cash value, and credits expire after one year.
Spa Finder® Gift Cards
If you are using a Spa Finder gift card, you may NOT use it towards any sale, discounted, or promotional services or products. Spa Finder® keeps a percentage of the gift cards resulting in our service providers getting only part of the actual dollar amount. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Gift Certificates
If you have purchased or received a Gift Certificate for Tanz Spa, they are valid for 1 year from the purchase date. We will honor those purchased in 2021 prior to us becoming the new owners, as long as Gift Certificates are redeemed within 12 months from purchase date.
Groupons
As of Feb 1, 2022, since the transfer of ownership took place in January, we unfortunately are unable to accept previously purchased Groupons as their policy would not allow the original account or tax-id number to transfer over to us, greatly complicating things for our wonderful clients and our business. If you have purchased a Groupon for Tanz Spa and have not yet redeemed it, please contact Groupon for your refund at 888-375-5777. We are no longer a spa partner with their service. If you have proof of a purchased Groupon and bring it into the Spa, we will honor the price you originally paid for that Groupon, for that single service, so that you can still enjoy your treatment at the discounted price and enjoy your time being pampered! We appreciate your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience.
Tanning Policies:
Tanning Age Limits
Our age limit for UV Tanning Beds is 15 years and older.
A parent signature (must be present to sign) is required for UV-Tanners under the age of 18. This is a State Law.
Our age limit for UV-Free Spray Tanning is 10 years and older.
Our age limit for UV-Free Acne Infrared Bed is 12 years and older.
It is required by state law, that you can only tan in a tanning bed once every 24 hours. You also may only use Indoor-Tanning Lotions approved by our staff. Outdoor lotions, or lotions containing mineral oil ruin the acrylics. Also, no spray bottles or oils are permitted. One guest is allowed in the tanning room at a time, this is state law. Other tanning rules are posted in each room.
Salon Rules & Etiquette:
Children Policy
We do not allow children under the age of 12, unless they are receiving a service, and they must be with an adult guardian at all times. We are not liable for any person under the age of 18, and may ask anyone with children to leave for the comfort and relaxation of our spa guests.
Cell Phones
All cell phones must be silenced while in the spa. Those who are tanning may listen to their cell phone or mp3 player as long as they have headphones/earbuds at all times. This is for the comfort and relaxation of our spa guests.
Gratuity & Tips
Leaving gratuity is always left to the discretion of our clients. As in all service-related businesses, it is common practice to leave gratuity when the professional has performed a service to the client's satisfaction. Customary gratuity in day spas is 20% or more of the full value of the treatment. Unless noted, gift certificates for treatments and/or packages do not include gratuities. Tips may be left with the therapist at the end of your treatment, or left at the front desk during checkout by cash, credit/debit card, or check. We make sure they receive these weekly!
Spa Promotions & Coupons
We offer a wide variety of coupons, specials, e-mail coupons, Facebook deals, and more. Most coupons have the policy in the fine print, however full details and rules may vary. Coupons or discounts can not be combined with any other offers. Price adjustments will not be given for previous purchases. Coupon must be presented/mentioned at time of purchase or booking only. Prices and Specials subject to change without notice. No refunds given.
Suggestive Behavior
We have a strict policy on professionalism in our spa. No inappropriate comments, behavior, or suggestive motions will be tolerated. You must be professionally draped and covered across the chest and groin area during all treatments. Any acts in question will be reported to management immediately. For the safety and comfort of our service providers, your service may be ended at any time if our providers feel uncomfortable. No refunds will be issued and you will be asked to leave the spa. You must remain in the tanning/spray tanning room with the door closed, if you are undressed. Any exposure to clients or staff will result in you being banned from the premises, and no refunds will be given.
